California Pear Advisory Board
The California Pear Advisory Board represents farmers who proudly grow California Pears with safety, tradition and the environment always in mind.
Established in March 1992, the California Pear Advisory Board (CPAB) is a state agricultural marketing order organized under the California Agricultural Marketing Act of 1937, which allows farmers to assess themselves to fund various industry programs.
The marketing order covers both fresh and processed Bartlett pears produced in California. Mandated programs include promotion, research, standardization, policy, and the cumulating of industry statistics and information.
CPAB is headquartered in Sacramento – the heart of one of the nation’s leading Bartlett pear growing regions.
