How can I tell if the romaine lettuce I buy is from Salinas?

Look for the sticker which gives the growing area.  Stickers with the words: Yuma, Phoenix, Southern Arizona, Northern Arizona, Northern California, Santa Maria, Southern California, Imperial Valley, Coachella and Central Valley are all SAFE to eat. Romaine from Mexico and other states is also okay. And hydroponically and greenhouse grown romaine is fine to eat too.
